Nail biting has become a habit among most of the people in today’s world. Many start biting their nails due to lot of stress and when they are tensed. Usually people start biting their nails without knowing what they are doing. We might be involved in various activities such as reading books, watching television, talking over the phone etc., simultaneously we start biting our nails without our knowledge. Nail biting becomes a habit mostly among the teenage people. Due to nail biting our health gets spoiled, because our nail contains enormous amount of dirt. While we bite our nails, those dirt enters our mouth and reaches stomach. This leads to various kinds of diseases. To stop this nail biting habit we should have manicure regularly. If we keep on biting nails then our finger tips become red and sore. Nail biting also increases infection around nail beds. We should cut our nails once in two weeks.We should also maintain our hands clean. Cutting our nails very often will indirectly reduce our nail biting habit. So, let us stop our nail biting habit and lead a healthy life from now. Good Day.
