GYM

Time is very precious. Every evening I used to sleep and waste my time because I didn’t know what else to do. Then I finally decided to utilize my time through gym and maintain my body too. I enjoyed doing exercise and learnt many new things. I would like to share my experience through this post. Gyms are not only for reducing your body weight but it can also be used to increase your body weight and strengthen your muscles. The gym which I joined in, consists of 3 categories. First is general usage of certain machines and dumbbell to make your muscles stiff and increase your looks. This is normally taken by those who have a good body without any extra fats and belly. The next category is called cardiac; here we have equipments like thread mill,stand alone cycles. We can use these equipments to burn our fat and tone our body. While using such equipments you will sweat a lot which indicates that you are loosing the unwanted fat in your body. Burning around 100 to 300 calories with perfect diet followed for 3 months will tone your body into a perfect shape. The next category is aerobics, here you are just trained to dance to a music. This actually reduce your body wait and makes your mind free. Gyms are the most useful place for toning your body and maintaining it. FASHION – RELATING TO HEALTH

Fashion means the looks and dresses that boys and girls follow according to the modern world for making themselves presentable and trendy. Is this a necessary one? How this topic is related to health? When we put forth a question of necessity, then the answer is, they are absolutely necessary to keep in pace with the moving world. In recent times these fashions are merely done show off money and people follow this just to show the world that they have lots of money and they belong to the rich community. Many fashion competitions giving titles such as miss universe, miss world,etc are in existence. Girls who are thin and sleek are considered to be fashionable and they are liked by most of men’s. This is a false assumption that comes into existence due to various activities that is happening around the world. Many women tend to be moved by those ads and develop inferiority complex which spoils their health. Just for the sake of selling their products companies advertise their cosmetics through models and people buy them blindly without checking the quality of the product, this causes skin diseases. The notion of skin beauty and being slim is not actually a perfect fashion; each one have their own idea about the word fashion. According to me girls with good character, helping tendency and homeliness are surely considered to be fashionable. WATER POLLUTION

Water pollution is the main cause for various types of health hazards in today’s world. Since water is being used for various purposes in our day to day life, we need to give prior importance to the water we use. Water gets polluted much, in places which are located near industries. So it is always better to use purified water. By using purified water for drinking, cooking, bathing, etc., most of the diseases can be controlled. This is because, diseases directly spread through the water we use. Water can be purified by various means,by using purifiers, filters and so on. The germs present in the water can be killed by boiling the water at high temperature. By following the above methods,water can be purified before use. WASHING HANDS

We need to wash our hands before we eat something. This is the best way by which we can stop spreading germs. If we eat without washing our hands, it causes various types of health hazards. Everyday from the morning we would have been touching many things, from our shoes to the toilet. We can't actually see germs present in things we use. But everything contains some kind germs which are not visible to human eyes. When we touch others without washing our hands then there is a chance of germs migrating from your body to the fellow person’s body, by this way germs may spread. At the same time we have to remember that if we eat something without washing our hands, the germs present in our hands enters in to our body and causes various types of health hazards. HEART ATTACK

Heart is the most important organ present in human being. If there is some problem in functioning of heart,it wil lead to heart attack. Such type of attack occurs when the blood flow is blocked due to deposition of certain fat material along the wall of the arteries. Slowly the oxygen level entering the heart decreases and it stops working leading to death. When heart attack occurs the coronary artery should be treated quickly. The heart muscle begins to die and they are replaced by a scar tissue. If some one is suffering from chest discomfort or pain, he or she should consult the doctor immediately. Recovery from heart attack is possible if they are treated quickly. Heart failure is the condition in which a heart cannot pump the required amount blood throughout the body. MANICURE

Hands and nails can be maintained well by a treatment called manicure. Before undergoing manicure treatment we need to clean the nail polish present in our hands. This nail polish can be cleaned by using acetone. Dip the cotton in acetone and then apply it over nail polish to remove it. There are various types of manicure operations. Place your hands in warm water for few minutes and then shape your nails with nail cutter,such that the tip of your nails are oval shaped. Then some creams are being applied over the hand. Manicure is a treatment which helps us to maintain our hands clean. Maintaining our hands clean prevents our body from many infections,because we use our hands to eat. NAIL BITING

Nail biting has become a habit among most of the people in today’s world. Many start biting their nails due to lot of stress and when they are tensed. Usually people start biting their nails without knowing what they are doing. We might be involved in various activities such as reading books, watching television, talking over the phone etc., simultaneously we start biting our nails without our knowledge. Nail biting becomes a habit mostly among the teenage people. Due to nail biting our health gets spoiled, because our nail contains enormous amount of dirt. While we bite our nails, those dirt enters our mouth and reaches stomach. This leads to various kinds of diseases. To stop this nail biting habit we should have manicure regularly. If we keep on biting nails then our finger tips become red and sore. Nail biting also increases infection around nail beds. We should cut our nails once in two weeks.We should also maintain our hands clean. Cutting our nails very often will indirectly reduce our nail biting habit. PEDICURE

Usually we don't take much care about our legs. This should not happen. Legs are also one among various parts of our body. Legs help us to move from one place to other. So we need to keep those legs clean and healthy. In that aspect there is a new methodology developed which gets a name pedicure. Before undergoing pedicure treatment we need to clean the nail and and remove the polish . This nail polish can be removed by using acetone. Cotton dipped over the acetone must be applied over the nails. After doing it we need to soak our legs in warm water and then clean it with soap. Then we have to cut the toe nail and make it flat edged. We can also call it as cleaning the nails present in our legs. Nails in our legs should be of proper size. It is always healthy to have short nails, because while walking, without our knowledge our toe may hit some obstacles and it will start bleeding immediately. DIABETICS

Diabetics is a disease which occurs in human beings due to variation in sugar level. This type of variations occur in blood as well as in urine. These variations can be of two different types such as high sugar and low sugar. But for majority of people it will be of high sugar type. It is very important to maintain the sugar level in our body. The major symptom of diabetics is loss of weight suddenly up to 10 kilograms. We have to take necessary treatment to maintain the sugar level. And the sugar level has to be checked periodically. If the sugar level shoots up to a very high level,we have to undergo insulin treatment. The above shown is the picture of a person who is taking insulin.
